BCG RECRUITMENT 2022

The BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Chennai is a sub-ordinate office of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India. It was established on 1st May, 1948. The activities of this Laboratory are as follows:

1. Manufacture of Freeze Dried BCG Vaccine for the control of Childhood Tuberculosis and Tuberculous Meningitis in children and supply to Expanded Programme of Immunization (EPI) of the Government of India and to other needy medical faculties/ Hospitals:

2. Manufacture and supply of Freeze Dried BCG Therapeutic (40mg) for cancer Chemotherapy especially Carcinoma of Urinary Bladder all over the country.

BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Chennai, a Subordinate Office of the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare invites applications for filling up the following posts for their office at Chennai, to be filled on deputation basis.

1) Stenographer Grade-I

✅ Age Limit:

✔️ maximum 56 years.

✅ Pay Scale:- Rs. 35400 – 112400 (Pay Level-6 )

✅ Eligibility for deputation:-

Officers holding the post of Stenographer under the Central
Government:

(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department

OR

(ii) With ten years regular service in the level-4 (Rs.25500-81100/-) or equivalent.

2) Technical Supervisor

✅ Age Limit:

✔️ maximum 56 years.

✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.29200-92300 (Pay Level-5 )

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or BioTechnology or Chemistry or Bio Chemistry.
✔️  One year experience in manufacturing or testing of biological or pharmaceuticals Preferably in Compliance Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) environment

3) Technician

✅ Age Limit:

✔️ maximum 56 years.

✅ Pay Scale:- Rs. 25500-81100 (Pay Level-4 )

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ 12th pass standard from a recognised board with diploma in Refrigeration and Air – Conditioning or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognised Institute or University
✔️  Three years experience of the Industry manufacturing of pharmaceuticals / vaccines
