Chandigarh, the dream city of India’s first Prime Minister, Sh. Jawahar Lal Nehru, was planned by the famous French architect Le Corbusier. Picturesquely located at the foothills of Shivaliks, it is known as one of the best experiments in urban planning and modern architecture in the twentieth century in India.

Chandigarh gets its name from the sanctuary of “Chandi Mandir” situated nearby the site chose for the city. The god ‘Chandi’, the goddess of force and a fortification of ‘garh’ laying past the sanctuary gave the city its name “Chandigarh-The City Beautiful”.

The Engineering Department, Union Territory, Chandigarh intend to fill up the following vacancy by deputation basis in terms of the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notified recruitment rules, for a period of one year which can be extended for a period of three years from the officers under the Central Govt./State Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Govt./autonomous or statutory organization.

✅ Age Limit:

✔️ Maximum 56 Years.

✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.Rs.37400-67000 + 8700 GP 

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from a recognized University or Institute or degree of AMIE in Civil Engineering.

✔️ twelve years’ experience in relevant field of Engineering in government sector.

Desirable
✔️ Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
