The Harish-Chandra Research Institute (HRI) is a chief establishment committed to investigate in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics.

The areas of concentration in Mathematics are Algebra, Analysis, Geometry, and Number Theory. In Physics the regions are Astrophysics, Condensed Matter, Particle Physics, Quantum Information, and String Theory. The organization runs a Ph.D program in both Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, and has as of late begun a M.Sc. program in Physics. Institute (H.R.I.) invites application from the eligible citizens of India for Non Academic post to be filled by Direct Recruitment on regular basis. The details are as under:-

✅ Age Limit:

✔️ Maximum 30 years.

✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.44900-142400 (Pay Level 07)

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ Master‟s degree in physics from any recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks. The candidate must be comfortable with Windows and Linux operating systems and should know at least one programming languages among Fortran, C, C++, Python, Matlab and Mathematica.

✅ Experience:

✔️The candidate must have at least one year experience at the masters level in a physics laboratory in a research institute/IIT/IISER/NISER or central university (i.e. the candidate must have at least one year experience of supervising M.Sc Physics laboratory in a research institute/IIT/IISER/NISER or central university).

✅ Selection Process:

✔️ will be done on the basis of Written Test & Skill Test as per norms of GoI. The Skill Test (if required) shall only be of qualifying nature. The selection shall be made purely on the basis of performance in the Written Test

✅ Application Fee:

✔️ Rs.500/- for General / OBC category candidates.

✔️ No application fee is payable for S.C./S.T. candidates.

✔️ Step-1: Applicant should fill up his/her name, date of birth, qualifications, experience etc. in format given at Annx-„1‟.

✔️ Step-2: One recent colour passport size self-attested photographs should be affixed on the place given in the application form.

✔️ Step-3: Self-attested copies of the certificates in support of Educational Qualifications, Age, Experience and Category (in case of SC/ST/OBC) should be attached along with the application form otherwise the application may be rejected
