India Govt. Mint, Kolkata is one of the nine units under the “Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited” (SPMCIL), a Miniratna Category-I, Central Public Sector Enterprise Company, wholly owned by Government of India, incorporated on 13.01.2006 under the Companies Act, 1956 with the objective of designing, manufacturing/printing security documents, currency and bank notes, non-judicial stamp papers, minting of coins, postage stamps, etc. SPMCIL is under the administrative control of Ministry of Finance with its Registered and Corporate Office at Jawahar Vyapar Bhavan, Janpath, New Delhi 110001. It has four Minting Units at Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Noida, four Currency/Security Printing Presses at Nashik, Dewas and Hyderabad besides a high quality Paper manufacturing Mill at Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad).

India Government Mint, Kolkata invites online applications from eligible and willing applicants for the various posts of “Engraver, Level- B-4 : – Sculpture (01) No., Metal Works (02) Nos. and Junior Office Assistant, Level- B-3 : (04) Nos.”:-

1) Engraver Level-B-4

✅ Age Limit:

✔️ Between 18 years to 28 years.

✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.23,910 – 85,570/- (3rd PRC) (Other allowances as admissible)

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sculpture/Metal Works) with at least 55% marks.

✅ Selection Process: On-line Examination.

2) Junior Office Assistant-Level-B-3

✅ Age Limit:

✔️ Between 18 years to 28 years.

✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.21,540 – 77,160/- (3rd PRC) (Other allowances as admissible)

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ Graduate with at least 55% marks and computer knowledge with typing speed on computer in English @ 40 wpm /in Hindi @ 30 wpm.

✅ Selection Process: Online Typing Test followed by On-line Examination.

✅ Application Fee:

✔️ Rs.600/-(inclusive of GST) for General and OBC category candidates

✔️ No Application fees is required to be paid by SC/ST/PWD candidate but Intimation charges of Rs.200/- (including GST) is to be paid by candidates belonging to SC /ST    /PWD category for each posts.

✔️ Step-1: Candidates to go to India Government Mint, Kolkata website https://igmkolkata.spmcil.com click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.

✔️ Step-2: Applicants are requested to carefully go through the full text of the advertisement and the instructions in particular.

✔️ Step-3: To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.

✔️ Step-4: In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.

✔️ Step-5: Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the COMPLETE REGISTRATION BUTTON.

✔️ Step-6: The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.

✔️ Step-7: Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button.

✔️ Step-8: Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point “C”.

✔️ Step-9: Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.

✔️ Step-10: Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before COMPLETE REGISTRATION.

✔️ Step-11: Modify details, if required, and click on ‘COMPLETE REGISTRATION’ ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.

✔️ Step-12: Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment.

✔️ Step-13: Click on ‘Submit’ button.
