Job Vacancy in CABS. The Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS) is a premier research and development organization under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India. Established in 1971, CABS is located in Bangalore and focuses on developing airborne systems for defense and civilian applications.

Job Vacancy in CABS

CABS has a wide range of expertise in designing, developing, and testing various airborne. Systems such as radars, electronic warfare systems, communication systems, and surveillance systems. These systems are integrated into various platforms like fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and balloons.

One of the most critical systems developed by CABS is the Airborne Early Warning. And Control (AEW&C) system, which is capable of detecting and tracking airborne threats such as enemy aircraft and missiles. The AEW&C system has been successfully integrated into the Indian Air Force’s fleet of aircraft. And it has significantly enhanced the country’s air defense capabilities.

Another significant achievement of CABS is the development of the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), which is used for high-resolution mapping. And imaging of the earth’s surface the SAR has been integrated into the Indian Air Force’s aircraft. And has also been used for civilian applications such as disaster management and resource mapping.
