NALSA RECRUITMENT 2022

The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) has been constituted under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 to provide free Legal Services to the weaker sections of the society and to organize Lok Adalats for amicable settlement of disputes.

Hon’ble Mr. Justice N. V. Ramana, The Chief Justice of India is the Patron-in-Chief. NALSA is housed at Supreme Court of India, Tilak Marg, New Delhi, Delhi(110001).

In every State, State Legal Services Authority has been constituted to give effect to the policies and directions of the NALSA and to give free legal services to the people and conduct Lok Adalats in the State.  The State Legal Services Authority is headed by Hon’ble the Chief Justice of the respective High Court who is the Patron-in-Chief of the State Legal Services Authority.

In every District, District Legal Services Authority has been constituted to implement Legal Services Programmes in the District. The District Legal Services Authority is situated in the District Courts Complex in every District and chaired by the District Judge of the respective district..

1) Stenographer Grade-D

 Age Limit:

✔️ Maximum 18-27 years.

 

 Pay Scale:- Level-4

 

 Educational Qualification:

✔️ The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University

 

2)  Assistant Librarian

 Age Limit:

✔️ Maximum 18-27 years.

 

 Pay Scale:- Level-4

 

 Educational Qualification:

✔️ Degree in any Discipline with Diploma in Library Science or Degree in Library Science from a recognized Institution or University.

Experience:

✔️ Knowledge of computer operation in Library work. It includes:-

(i) Knowledge and experience of working with any standard “Library Automation software” for House Keeping activities in the Library such as cataloguing, acquisition and circulation etc.

(ii) Knowledge and experience of computerized search both of on-line and off-line databases including retrieval of desired information through various search engines/processes

 

3)  Jr. Secretariat Assistant

 Age Limit:

✔️ Maximum 18-27 years.

 

 Pay Scale:- Level-2

 

 Educational Qualification:

✔️ The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University

 

Selection Process:

For the post of Stenographer Grade-D and Jr. Secretariat Assistant
✔️ Written Test – General English, General Aptitude, General knowledge, Computer Knowledge
✔️ Skill Test (For shortlisted candidates only)

For the post of Assistant Librarian
✔️ Written Test – General English, General Aptitude, General knowledge, Computer Knowledge, Post Related

 Application Fee:

✔️ ₹ 500/- General / OBC
