Established in 1987, NEIGRIHMS has been intended to be a postgraduate medical institution like AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. It was the first postgraduate medical institution in the North Eastern region, and the third in the Country established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It was registered as a Society on the 12th of January, 1987 by the Registrar of Societies, Meghalaya, Shillong as:
“North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences”.

1) Registrar
✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Maximum 56 Years.
✅ Pay Scale:- post Level 12 of Pay Matrix (Rs. 78,800-2,09,200/-) (Pre-revised Pay Band-3, Rs. 15600-39100/– with Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/-)
✅ Selection Process:

✅ Educational Qualification:
✔️ Ought to be an alumni ideally postgraduate in science and have somewhere around seven years experience in a University/Teaching Institution in the space of organization in an administrative limit including behavior of assessment and confirmation at graduate and post graduate level, planning and plan of scholastic and showing programs in undergrad and post graduate clinical courses.
2) Senior Accounts Officer

✅ Pay Scale:- Post Level 11 of Pay Matrix (Rs.67,700-2,08,700/-) (Pre-revised Pay Band-3, Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-)

✅ Educational Qualification:
✔️ Should have passed Subordinate Accounts Service examination with five years’ experience in supervisory capacity in the field of Management Accountancy including Financial Management, Budgetary Control of project Financial Accounts and Balance Sheet.
3) Chief Dietician Nutrition Officer Pay
✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Maximum 56 years.
✅ Pay Scale:- Level 11 of Pay Matrix (Rs.67,700- 2,08,700/–) (Pre-revised Pay Band 3, Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-)

✅ Educational Qualification:
✔️ M. Sc. in food and Nutrition : Ph.D in Human Nutrition or Therapeutic Dietetics
4) Executive Engineer (Electrical)

✔️ Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute and seven years experience in the relevant field.
5) System Analyst

✔️ Masters Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or M. Tech (with specialization in Computer Application) or BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology of a recognized University or equivalent. b. Five Years experience of Electronic Data Processing, out of which at least two years experience should be in actual programming

✔️ Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or Degree in Electronic/Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. b. Seven Years experience of Electronic Data Processing, out of which at least three years experience should be in actual programming.
