National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is a technical support institution under the National Health Mission (NHM), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHF&W). NHSRC works closely with the MoHF&W and the States for Health Systems strengthening and supporting the implementation of interventions under the NHM. Work at the NHSRC is organized around seven divisions, namely – Community Processes & Comprehensive Primary Care, Healthcare Financing, Healthcare Technology, Human Resources for Health, Knowledge Management Division, Public Health Administration, and Quality Improvement.
Since its inception in 2006, NHSRC has been a repository of knowledge and a center of excellence for its agenda. This organization has professional linkages with a plethora of domestic and international bodies involved in the field of Public Health. There have been a number of personnel who have served with NHSRC and gained invaluable experience enabling them to graduate to the next rung of the professional ladder. Vast exposure to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and its processes and the State Health Department is a unique feature of NHSRC. The position offers you an opportunity to participate in the process of strengthening health systems, improving health service delivery, and enabling positive health outcomes, through hands-on implementation assistance at the National, State, and District levels. Working with a transdisciplinary team, you can discover, adapt, co-create and disseminate solutions to multiple challenges related to service delivery systems, universal primary health care, human resources for health, community processes, health financing, quality of care, and patient safety, public health planning, and health promotion. This is an opportunity to support health systems strengthening at scale, learn from district and sub-district implementation, undertake knowledge translation, and enable the realization of the vision of universal health coverage.

1) National Program Coordinator (Senior Public Health Specialist)
✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Maximum 60 years
✅ Pay Scale:- : Rs.1,20,000 per month.
✅ Education Qualification:
✔️ MBBS/BDS with more than 7 years of experience in public health
✔️ Postgraduate in Public Health /Community Medicine/Community Medicine/Health Management /Hospital Management /Public Health Informatics.
✔️ Master of Veterinary Science, preferable in Public Health, Epidemiology, or Preventive Medicine.
2) Consultant (Public Health)
✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Not more than 45 years
✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.90,000/- per month
✅ Education Qualification:
✔️ Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (preferably in Epidemiology or Public Health such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE, PhD etc. or Microbiology)
✔️ Medical Graduate with 2 years’ experience in related field OR Postgraduate in field of Veterinary Science with experience in Field Epidemiology or in handling the health programmed of similar nature related field.
✔️ Life Sciences or Social Science related to Public Health with 7 years’ experience handling the health programmed of similar nature related field.
3) Epidemiologist
✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Maximum 45 Years.
✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.90,000/- per month
✅ Education Qualification:
✔️ MBBS recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) with MD (PSM/Community Medicine) / MD (CHA) / MD (Tropical Medicine) recognized by MCI or DNB (Social and Preventive Medicine / Community Medicine)
✔️ MBBS recognized by MCI with Master of Public Health (MPH) / Diploma in Public Health (DPH) / master’s in applied Epidemiology (MAE) / Diploma in Health Administration (DHA) from recognized University of India along with Experience – Two years of experience in Public Health after acquiring mentioned post graduate qualifications
OR
✔️ MBBS recognized by MCI with EIS Training Course Certificate OR Master of Veterinary Science, preferable in public health, Epidemiology, or Preventive Medicine experience – with 3 years’ experience in Public Health field after acquiring mentioned post graduate qualifications.
4) Consultant Microbiologist
✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Not more than 45 years
✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.90,000/- per month
✅ Education Qualification:
✔️ M.D. in Microbiology with experience in Molecular Diagnostic techniques with 1 year experience after MD degree
✔️ Master’s degree (MSc / MVSc./ MD) in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Microbial Genetics/ Organic Chemistry/ Microbiology OR Zoology with Cell Biology or Human Genetics as special subject OR Life Sciences with specialization in Molecular Biology/ Microbial Genetics/ Cell Biology or Genetics from a recognized University. Experience – At least 6-year experience after Master degree
✔️ One experience after PhD degree in the field of Molecular Biology related to Human / Animal Health, Genomics and/or Proteomics Research, Molecular Diagnostics, Molecular Epidemiology and Applied innovations in various aspects of infectious disease or other similar areas as evident from publications in journals of high international repute.
5) Consultant – IT (GIS)
✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Maximum 45 Years.
✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.75000/- per month
✅ Education Qualification:
✔️ BE / B.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / Civil or Post Graduate Qualification in IT / Computer Science with more than 2 years of experience preferably in GIS related projects in Health or Social Sector
✔️ Master’s degree in Geo-Informatics with minimum four years’ experience preferably in GIS related projects in Health or Social sector
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Geo-Informatics with minimum six years’ experience preferably in GIS related projects in Health or Social sector
✔️ M.Sc. in GIS, Masters in GIS, /Geo informatics at least two-year experience in relevant field i.e. survey, handling of survey equipment
6) Statistical Officer
✅ Age Limit:
✔️ Not more than 50 years
✅ Pay Scale:- : Rs.60000/-(consolidated) per month

7) Communication Officer

8) Consultant (Veterinary)
