Sainik School Nalanda was established with the primary aim of preparing boys, particularly of Bihar domicile academically, physically and mentally for entry into the National Defence Academy and the Naval Academy. The School is a residential public school for boys functioning under the aegis of Sainik Schools    Society, Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. inaugurated by the Hon’ble Raksha Mantri Shri George Fernandes, The School came into existence on 12 Oct   2003 and has been functioning in its permanent building at Nanand village in Nalanda District of Bihar. Mauryans have made their presence felt at the National Level Though, the School is only 18 years old, made its presence felt not only at State level but also at the National level by producing the; best results in the All India Secondary School Examination.

The School has also bagged the General Officer Commanding, Madhya Bharat Area Jabalpur has adjudged Sainik School Nalanda as the Best Sainik School among all the five Sainik Schools of Central zone on overall performance for the academic session 2014-15 fourth times. It is pertinent to mention that the school has received  coveted  Raksha Mantri Trophy for sending maximum cadets to NDA in 2013.   The School topped among all the Sainik Schools in the country in  the Class X CBSE Board Exams and received the coveted Merit Certificate  presented by the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India for the best Academic Performance in the AISSE nine times and twice in Class XII CBSE Board Exam

✔️ Between 18 – 50 years

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ Essential: Should have passed 10” from a recognized Board.

✔️ Desirable:

1. Communication in English, Higher Qualification, Experience in handling the students in a Residential School/  Institution, Knowledge of computer with typing.
2. Experience in Housekeeping duties or working as Hostel Warden/ Ward Boy in any Residential School will be given preference.
3. in addition to this, preference will be given to those who possess Degree/ Diploma in Home Science or having done Dietitian’s course and have basic medical knowledge including  first aid.
4. The candidate should be physically fit.

✔️ Step-3: Duly filled prescribed application form along with self attested copies of academic documents, experience certificate, cast certificate (if applicable), unstamped self–addressed envelope (9’X4′) and a non-refundable Demand Draft for Rs.500/– drawn in favor of the Principal, Sainik School Nalanda payable at SBI, VIMS Pawapuri (Branch Code No 18429) or PNB, Pawapuri (Branch Code No 294200) should reach the Principal, Sainik School Nalanda, Vill-Nanand, PO–Pawapuri, Dist.-Nalanda, State-Bihar, Pin Code 803 115 by Ordinary/ Registered/ Speed Post Courier/ By hand on or before the date as prescribed Below.
