THDCIL ENGINEER RECRUITMENT 2022

THDCIL is Schedule “A” Mini Ratna Government Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). It is one of the Premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1587 MW with commissioning Of Tehri Dam & HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW), Dhukwan Small HEP (24 MW) and Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan ,63MW at Dwarka and 50MW Solar Power Project Kasargod.  

The Equity of company is shared between NTPC and GoUP.  

The Company was incorporated on 12th July 1988 to develop, operate and maintain the 2400MW Tehri Hydro Power Complex and other Hydro Projects. The Company as an authorized share Capital of Rs.4000Cr. THDCIL is a Mini Ratna Category-I and Schedule “A” PSU.  

Presently, THDCIL has three operational hydro power plants namely Tehri HPP (1000 MW), Koteshwar HEP (400 MW), Dhukwan Small HEP (24 MW), two operational Wind Power Plants Namely Patan Wind Farm (50 MW) and Devbhumi Dwarika Wind Farm (63 MW) and one solar Project (50 MW).  

Presently, 2764 MW under Construction Projects (Tehri PSP -1000 MW, VPHEP (444 MW) and Khurja STPP -1320 MW). The Other Projects are under various stage of Development/implementation. Further THDCIL also developing 2000 MW UMREPPs ( 600 MW Capacity of Solar Park, each at Jhansi and Lalitpur District and 800 MW at Chittarkoot District of UP) through SPV (a JV of ‘THDCIL’ and ‘UPNEDA’ named TUSCO) in the state of Uttar Pradesh.  

THDCIL is consistently profit-making company since the commissioning of Tehri Dam & HPP in The year 2006-07.THDCIL invites applications from bright, dedicated, result oriented, energetic and dynamic Candidates with good academic records to join us as ENGINEER TRAINEE IN DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES OF ENGINEERING 

1.  Engineer trainee – Civil :

Age limit: Max age limit as of 1st August 2022 is 30 years. 

Pay scale: ₹50,000(Executive trainee) – ₹60,000(Senior trainee) 

Educational Qualification: 

Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc-Engg.) from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks or equivalent CGPA, taking average of all semesters/years, irrespective of weightage given to any particular Semester/year by the University/ Institute.

2.  Engineer trainee – Electrical :

Age limit: Max age limit as of 1st August 2022 is 30 years. 

Pay scale:  ₹50,000(Executive trainee) – ₹60,000(Senior trainee)

Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc-Engg.) from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks or equivalent CGPA, taking average of all semesters/years, irrespective of weightage given to any particular Semester/year by the University/ Institute.

3.  Engineer trainee – Mechanical : 

Age limit: Max age limit as of 1st August 2022 is 30 years. 

Pay scale: ₹50,000(Executive trainee) – ₹60,000(Senior trainee)

Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc-Engg.) from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks or equivalent CGPA, taking average of all semesters/years, irrespective of weightage given to any particular Semester/year by the University/ Institute.

Selection Process: 

1. Candidates have to register themselves online at THDCIL website with details of GATE-2022 Such as Application No., GATE-2022 Registration Number and other required information, Which will be available at Recruitment section of www.thdc.co.in
2. Candidates will be required to retain their GATE-2022 Admit Card and GATE-2022 Score Card for the verification at the time of Personal Interview in THDC India Limited. 
3. The Eligible candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022.  
4. Candidates shall be shortlisted based on GATE 2022 score/performance from among the Candidates who will apply against the advertisement for the post of Engineer Trainee (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) in THDCIL.  
5. The normalized score of GATE 2022 will form basis of shortlisting.  
6. Merit List shall be separate for General/SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/ PwBDSs category.  
7. In case the GATE score-2022 of two candidates are same then marks obtained in Qualifying Examination (Engineering Degree) will form the basis, in case the marks of Qualifying Examination (Engineering Degree) is also the same then marks obtained in Class XII will be taken into Consideration, in the case the marks of Class XII is also the same then marks obtained in Class X Is also same then Date of Birth will be taken into consideration for preparing merit between two Candidates and person born earlier shall be considered. 
8. The Selection Process consists marks obtained in the corresponding paper of GATE 2022 and Personal Interview.  
9. Please note only GATE Score of year 2022 is valid for the recruitment. 
10. Last date for online application for registration will be on 1st August 2022 and the last day for the payment of the registration fee will be on 3rd August 2022.
