Welcome to the VARIABLE EBERGY CYCLOTRON CENTRE
Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre is a premier R & D unit of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India and one of the constituent institutions of Homi Bhabha National Institute. This Centre is dedicated to carry out frontier research and development in the fields of Accelerator Science & Technology, Nuclear Science (Theoretical and Experimental), Material Science, Computer Science & Technology and in other relevant areas.

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for engagement of 2 (two) Research Associates at Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolkata purely on temporary basis:-

1) Research Associates

✅ Age Limit:

✔️ Maximum 40 Yrs.

✅ Pay Scale:- Rs.47,000/- per month only plus Contingency Grant of Rs.40,000/ per annum and HRA (if hostel accommodation is not provided) and other facilities as admissible as per the institution’s Rules. 

✅ Educational Qualification:

✔️ Candidate with regular/provisional Ph.D. in Experimental High Energy Physics from any recognized Institute/University.

✅ Selection Process:

✔️ Screened in candidates have to attend presentation cum interview at VECC campus, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700 064. The schedule for the presentation cum interview will be informed to the candidates, once screening is over.
