The Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) was constituted on 26.10.2010 under the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007 vide Government of India Gazette Notification dated 26th October 2010. The Act provides for the establishment of the WDRA to exercise the powers conferred on it and to perform the functions assigned to it under the Act, Rules and Regulations for the development and regulation of warehouses, negotiability of warehouse receipts and promote orderly growth of the warehousing business in the country.
The WDRA is a Statutory Authority under the Department of Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. The Authority has its Headquarters in New Delhi.
The Authority consists of a Chairperson and two Members appointed by the Central Government. The post of Chairman is held by Sh. T K Manoj Kumar, IAS w.e.f 22.11.2021

✅ Educational Qualification:
✔️ Officers of Central and State Government or Central and State Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous or Statutory bodies holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department.
✔️ with five-year service on regular basis in posts in the level 10 (Rs.56100-177500/-) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.
✔️ possessing a degree from a Government recognized University or Institute.

✔️ Step-3: The selected candidate will be appointed on deputation basis initially for a period of three years which may be extended from time-to-time by the competent authority as per rules
✔️ Step-4: The applicant should have a minimum of four years’ service left as on the last date of receipt of applications.
✔️ Step-5: Only such recommendations, as are accompanied by the requisite personal data in (Annexure-II) given in the detail advertisement will be considered. Official, who once volunteers for the post, will not be permitted to withdraw his/her name later.
